I have 12 years' experience of designing and delivering ambitious co-production projects that defy traditional formats.
I produce work for public spaces, in art centres , in community spaces and even public toilets. Rarely do I make work in traditional theatre spaces.
I specialise in producing participatory projects, often place-based, that create positive social change by working with artists/designers and communities to explore ways in which we can tackle local and global issues through creativity. I have a robust background in developing and implementing place-based initiatives that foster meaningful connections for long term impact.
My role sits between the creative process and the operational process in the project, helping ideas and collaboration, bringing together the right resources, people and participants to turn ideas into reality.
I can help you to research, design and deliver projects in unusual settings, working with an inclusive place-based approach that is always accessible and collaborative. My goal is to create the best possible outcomes and to help communicate their value to all involved.
I endeavour for my process to be inclusive and I always maintain creativity and fun throughout.
I can work with you in :
- Facilitation and support for communities and groups to co-design and co-produce processes.
- Planning and delivery of both online and in-person events, as well as longer-term programmes.
- Navigating challenges and uncovering solutions using artistic materials, processes and techniques.
- Conducting research to shape project aims and objectives, guiding the vision and ensuring the project idea is executed to its full potential.
- Fostering innovation and transforming ideas into reality.
- Building lasting relationships with collaborators and partners.
- Recruiting a strong team who are committed to the project and its legacy.
- Overseeing project monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to ensure ongoing progress, impact and sharing success.
